Christian Science Practitioners.  These are individuals who devote their full time to the healing ministry of Christian Science.  Many keep regular office hours, and you can find them listed in the Yellow Pages of the phone book under "Christian Science Practitioners," though there is a more complete listing in every issue of the Christian Science Journal.  You can call one of these individuals to ask questions about Christian Science, but their role is more properly that of spiritual healers, though they are very clear that God is always the healer.  In a loving, supportive way, they will listen to your problem and then, without hypnotism or physical manipulation of any kind, they will pray with and for you for the change of consciousness that brings healing:  physical, emotional, relationship, financial – whatever the problem may be.  They charge a very modest fee for their service, and most will not accept full payment unless there is a healing.
