Sunday Services.  Christian Science Sunday Services are simple and impersonal and last an hour. In addition to a Scriptural Selection, music (hymns, solo, and offertory) and announcements, the Christian Science Lesson-Sermon from The Bible and and the Christian Science Textbook, Science & Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy is read as the sermon. This is the same lesson studied by Christian Scientists during the week, and it is read by two readers elected from among the church's membership.
